When you think of a WAG, you generally think of somebody like Victoria Beckham, somebody lean, slim and perfectly made up and the wife or girlfriend of ..... a footballer?
Don't you? Well meet me!
The only thing I have in common with Victoria Beckham is that I am female and am a wife or girlfriend - but not of a footballer, oh no, a dart player!
Dave has become a fully fledged member of the Marquis of Lorne darts team ... and I am the one that follows him around (my work permitting of course) .... so am now myself a proper WAG.
Last Friday night (29th Aug 08) we walked to the pub and Dave had his first game of darts in pub in many a year. He was in the first match on (doubles) .... although he and his partner won their match, the dart team unfortunately lost overall that night to the Pot Black.
Roll on this Friday ...... when its time to play away.
